This is the corner I started in. Once I got an edge the rest of the carpet came up pretty easy.

Did the girls like helping? It reminds me of our previous house - we spent about 4 years re-doing it. Are you going to leave the hardwood floors or recarpet?

The girls had a good time. Yesterday they were really anxious to start painting. There is still a little scrapping and then clean up the floor put plastic or drop clothes down and then paint. Yeah!
I hope I have paint pictures to post tonight.

Yep throw a rug down on the floor to sit and play on and your golden. We have hard wood here and really like it.
